About Us

Welcome to Belle Maison Collection! We are so happy you are here! Our names are Coleman and Lauren Houseknecht, and we have been building this little dream of ours since 2015, when Coleman took a leap of faith and started our business out of our garage painting and refinishing antique furniture. While we still love furniture and all things vintage, we have made lots of changes over the years. We sell women’s clothing, home decor, shoes, jewelry, furniture….you name it! If it’s pretty, you’ll find it here!

Allow us to tell you a little more about ourselves! Coleman, our owner, graduated from Auburn University in 2009 with a degree in Supply Chain Management. He worked in that field for a few years before jumping into the world of retail ownership headfirst. There have been a lot of ups and downs along the way, but he loves creating an awesome space at the store and bringing unique items to you. Lauren, Coleman’s wife, also graduated from Auburn University in 2008 and then attended law school at The University of Alabama. Lauren is a full time lawyer in Huntsville. In her “spare time” she also does the purchasing for our women’s clothing line! Coleman and Lauren live in Madison, Alabama and have two wonderful children, Retta and Hampton.
